Hello, my name is Harry and this is my blog which is all about understanding the Australian tax system. Let's be honest, tax can be very boring and the Australian tax system isn't the easiest thing to understand with its many rules and regulations. When I became self-employed a couple of years ago, I didn't have a clue about how to calculate or pay tax. Thankfully, my friend put me in touch with a fantastic tax service who were able to guide me as I filled out my first tax returns. I have learnt so much about the tax system since then, that I decided to start this blog.
